Sheriff Richard D. Wiles was raised and educated in El Paso, graduating from Andress High School in 1979. Sheriff Wiles joined the El Paso Police Department in 1982 and rose quickly to leadership positions.
Brian was elected as City Council Representative for District 1 in December of 2022, overwhelmingly winning the vote over 6 other candidates. He ran for office out of a concern for the direction of municipal government.

Mayor Leeser was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and arrived in El Paso with his family at 9-years-old speaking no English. He is now the owner and operator of the largest Hispanic Hyundai dealership in the nation and is serving his second term as Mayor.
